So many heads hanging! I know it's upsetting that the season is over, but this team is SO Young. Returning our ENTIRE defence next year is going to make this team VERY Good! Have a GREAT Summer Fellas. Rest up, get some good R&R in, and See you in August! GO ROCKETS GO!
So the Rockets will lose Brown, Chike, & Lyon. Next years 20 year olds: Chapman & Main (assume Bulmer goes pro). Everybody else back and 1 year older. Zemgus Girgensons is expected to go high in the NHL draft and might be persuaded to develop his game with the Rockets. If so, the Rockets should have a dominant team.
Good game last night......surprised to see as many fans on a Thurs night......great support.
Clearly the Rockets were just outgunned. Way too many mistakes in their own zone and in the neutral zone. And against a team is be able to capitalize on those mistakes.
Playing such a young team is going to pay off in the long run..........
Oh and thanks to you Regan and Gord for another great yr covering the Rockets!!!!
Thanks "Unknown " for lsitening and the kind words.
Rockets put up a good fight, but could not find a way to stop Rattie and Baertschi (who had 24 points combined in 4 games) and the rest of the Hawk team.
I agree that next year the rockets should have a dominant team and should hopefully have a decent playoff run.
Regan and Gord (and Kevin) thanks for another great season of rockets play by play. Already looking forward to next season.
